Andrew Englisch – Creative Director

Hi! I’m a creative director who specialises in branding, advertising, film making and photography in the tourism, lifestyle and adventure categories. I previously co-founded igloo, one of Australia’s most successful design and digital agencies and worked as creative director at Cummins&Partners (2015 Mumbrella Independent Agency of the Year). I have worked with local and international brands such as Nike, Kathmandu, Cardrona Ski Resort(NZ), Wanaka Tourism(NZ), Mazda, and the Tasmanian Walking Company and combine a passion for adventure and the outdoors with a desire for high quality design. I offer big agency thinking and expertise with boutique service and craftsmanship and collaborate with companies to help them develop compelling brand platforms and content.



 A brief history of my career and adventures

  • 01 The Graduate

    Studied Industrial Design at Monash Uni and dreamt of working as a product designer for Philippe Starck while honing my sketching and scamping skills.

  • 02 The Apprentice

    Scored my first job working for a Sydney Industrial Design Firm designing planes, trains & automobiles.

  • 03 The Igloo Years

    Founded boutique design agency Igloo with good mate Tony Prysten and turned it into Australia's leading digital agency before flogging it to a public company in 2008.

  • 04 The Agency

    After taking a year off exploring the world, I joined Australian Agency of the year - Cummins&Partners as creative director and had the chance to work on an amazing assortment of film, photography and ad campaigns

  • 05 The Explorer

    The next stage of my adventure continues in 2016 when I begin to work independently on adventure, lifestyle and tourism projects utilising a unique blend of branding, content and strategy.


Over the past 10 years I have developed a unique and highly effective creative process which combines in-depth customer research, brand platform development and ‘real time’ content creation. The process involves complete immersion in a brand and has been tried and proven on tourism and adventure brands; locally and internationally, yielding incredible results in a short period of time.
